City presents 2024 Climate Action Plan annual report; highlights solar, trails, tree plantings and e‑waste collection

Griffey also noted Lafayette’s selection for two federal/national cohorts in 2025: a LEED for Cities cohort and the EPA Sustainable Communities Accelerator Network.
Griffey answered a council question about state grants for invasive plant removal by saying grant awards have not yet been allocated to applicants and that some rural funding streams continue under separate grant programs; staff said allocation decisions were pending.
