Lafayette City upholds 60-day demolition wait, approves tiny parcel sale, equipment surplus, water-well change order and $6.04M in claims

Lafayette City officials approved several routine but consequential administrative items, including upholding a 60-day waiting period for a proposed garage demolition at 1423 Columbia Street and authorizing the sale of two small alley parcels to abutting landowners under Resolution O5-2025. The council also declared a fleet hotbox surplus, approved a reduction to a drilling contract for test well work, and approved claims totaling $6,041,793.75.
