The city’s negotiating team said this agreement concluded a series of contracts negotiated earlier in the year with other employee groups (Fraternal Order of Police and firefighters). City negotiators noted the four-year agreement updates language, increases the clothing allowance annually, raises the second-shift differential from $0.20 to $0.60 and the third-shift differential from $0.35 to $1.00, and consolidates sick-time banks while preserving up to 12 weeks leave in significant FMLA cases.
City leadership thanked negotiating team members for completing the agreement. With no public comment, the resolution passed on a roll-call vote recorded as unanimous (7–0).
