DUNDEE, Ore. — The Dundee City Council on April 1 approved a package of measures the city said it needs to shore up utility finances and advance local development, including a multi-tier water-rate increase, a $30,000 PFAS study contract and a $125,000 urban-renewal grant for the Olive Branch development.
The votes came as the council and staff described a budget shortfall and several near-term infrastructure and permitting decisions. Council members approved a resolution setting new water-consumption rates and associated charges (Resolution 2025-O3), awarded a contract for a PFAS (per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances) study, authorized temporary street closures and noise variances for an event, and approved several smaller contracts and appointments.
Most measures passed with routine procedural votes.
