During the consent agenda the board removed item "h" — a proposed transmission-line easement over district property on Golden Triangle — and voted to table the item for further review.
Trustees said the easement would be a 70-foot corridor running through a portion of the district’s land; initial offers presented at the meeting were described in general terms on Jan. 30 and trustees asked staff to verify comparable recent property values and the impact of the easement on marketability.
Why it was tabled Board members said they needed more information on fair market value, appraisal results and the precise routing before approving an easement that could affect future land sales or development plans.
Next steps District staff said they will obtain additional appraisal and comparables and return the item to the board for a future vote; trustees did not set a public deadline during the Jan. 30 discussion.
