City staff told the council other bidders were either outside the bid specifications or were too expensive.

Staff said estimated delivery timing was not certain; they indicated production lead times may mean the vehicles are not immediately available on a dealer lot and that the city needs to secure the vehicles under the bid while production and delivery schedules are finalized.
The council recorded the award and will proceed to finalize purchase and scheduling with the selected dealership.
