Councilors said the revisions aim to clarify local standards and penalties for noise violations. No substantive debate about the content or enforcement approach was recorded on the floor at the third reading; the council moved both items to final adoption after the rules suspension to take up the ordinances that were already advertised for final reading.
The amendments will take effect according to the city's ordinance publication procedures.
