The Senate Committee on Health and Human Services deferred HCR 190 after the Department of Health told the committee it could not convene a demolition and waste-reduction working group without an appropriation.

At the hearing, the Department of Health provided comments and the Department of Accounting and General Services (DAGS) registered support. The committee chair said there were no committee questions and deferred HCR 190 for lack of an appropriation to fund the convening of the working group.

Deferral preserves the draft language for future consideration if funding is provided; the committee did not adopt the resolution or vote to pass it at the hearing.
