At Roosevelt Elementary the committee reported continued troubleshooting of unit ventilators in Rooms 304 and 308; TBS Controls has remotely checked systems and the district is awaiting parts. Committee members noted a valve in Room 105 had been left off during renovations; when staff re-opened the valve normal heating resumed. The district has placed purchase orders for replacement motors and is awaiting an ETA; administration contacted the contractor InLine to request an immediate visit.
The report said Sal Electric was engaged to inspect electric service to a nonworking circulating pump, and Jersey Controls had remote-accessed Lincoln School’s system to reset heating setpoints; after the reset heat returned to normal. The field house is being cleaned and sanitized by Servpro; the work began Jan. 21. The buildings-and-grounds committee will next meet Feb. 10.
Trustee Quinn identified vendors by name (TBS Controls, Jersey Controls, Sal Electric, InLine and Servpro) and emphasized the administration’s ongoing follow-up to obtain quotes and parts.
