The City Commission on April 15 voted unanimously to continue review of application 24147 — the boutique hotel proposal at 240 East Mendenhall Street — to the May 20, 2025 meeting at the applicant’s request.
Rob Pritzborn of Intrinsic Architecture, representing the Payne Group (the applicant), told the commission the team requested the continuance so both the applicant and city staff would have adequate time to review and fairly address recent public comments. Commissioner Fisher moved to continue the review to May 20; the motion passed unanimously.
Ending — No discussion on the merits took place at the April 15 meeting; the item was continued for full review at the May 20 meeting.
