Committee approves bill extending ban on unsolicited explicit emails to text messages

Meeks told the committee he is concerned that text messaging could become a similar nuisance to email, filling phones with junk and making the medium burdensome. “My fear is ... our phones are gonna be filled up with all sorts of junk,” he said.
