DHS staff said the change was not intended to remove transparency obligations and that they would work with members to ensure prior‑authorization reporting remains appropriate.
Representative Bierman and members agreed to lay the bill over for further drafting and review; the author said he would work with Representative Nadeau and DHS to resolve outstanding transparency questions before advancing the bill.
