Changes include converting numbered lists to alphabetical bullets to avoid implying a priority ranking, reintroducing fuller accountability language requested by trustees and incorporating duties from MASB materials to clarify trustee and superintendent responsibilities.
The document is presented as a living manual that the board will review annually. Staff asked trustees to read the draft and bring questions back at the May meeting; the draft was not presented for action at the April meeting.
