Board approves consent agenda, corrected tax roll refund and personnel items

The Marlboro Central School District Board of Education approved its consent agenda that included contracts, agreements, personnel recommendations, minutes and financial items. The motion to approve the consent agenda was made by James Kuha and seconded by Joanne Reed and carried by roll-call vote.

The board also approved an application from the Ulster County Office of Real Property Tax Services for a corrected 2024 tax roll for a Milton property (Marshall J. Menezi III, 8 Brewster Street, SBL 103.9‑2‑23) and authorized issuance of a refund due to a corrected taxable value; the motion was moved by Tony and seconded by Joanne, and carried by roll call.

During roll call on the consent agenda, Board member Joanne Reed publicly thanked a retiring staff member, Mrs. Smith, noting appreciation for her service. The board recorded unanimous affirmative votes for the consent and the corrected-roll action; additional contract items listed in the consent agenda include Cooper Areas LLP and a revised Ralph Rota contract (as presented in the meeting packet).
