The House Capital Investment Committee on March 18 approved the minutes from its March 13 meeting by voice vote and discussed a planned rotation of gavel duties between co-chairs.
Chair Franzen called for a motion to approve the March 13 minutes. A member moved and the motion was approved after members voted “aye.” Chair Franzen then told members that, with the committee’s power-sharing agreement in place, the co-chairs will rotate who gavel s the committee — typically Franzen on Tuesdays and the other co-chair on Thursdays — so the bipartisan committee can continue its work across the state.
The approval of minutes was the only formal vote recorded in the transcript of the session. No amendments or conditions were attached to the adopted minutes. The chair asked members to proceed with the scheduled presentations and said time would be set aside after each presentation for questions.
