Princeton council adopts resolution supporting New Jersey Climate Superfund Act

Mary Sadargis, a volunteer with Food & Water Watch, addressed the council during public comment on the resolution to express gratitude and support for municipal backing of the bill. “It’s not a perfect bill, but I think that it’s beginning a momentum across the country to address the climate disaster issue,” Sadargis said.
No amendments or formal municipal lobbying actions were recorded at the meeting; the resolution is an expression of the council’s support and does not itself change local ordinances or regulatory responsibilities.
