The Board of Library Trustees adopted the meeting agenda, approved the minutes from the Nov. 20, 2024 meeting and accepted the nominating committee's slate of officers for terms through January 2027.
The board voted to adopt the evening's agenda after a motion, a second and a voice vote of "aye." The trustees then approved the Nov. 20 meeting minutes by motion, second and voice vote.
The nominating committee, chaired by Chanel Anthony, presented a recommended slate: Antonio (Tony) Williams for chair and Chanel Anthony for vice chair. After a motion from the floor and a second, trustees voted to accept the slate. The chair confirmed the newly chosen officers will serve until the board's first meeting in 2027; in the absence of both, the senior member, Brian Williams, will preside.
