If they do not comply…we are not going to fund you,” Raby said, urging the council to add “teeth” to the agreement.
Cathy Miller, a nearby building tenant, also asked the council to consider restricting parking on a block between Baseline and Oak, citing daily motor homes and people standing in the street as safety and access concerns. Both speakers asked the council to reexamine funding decisions and to require stronger compliance provisions of any contract or memorandum of understanding.
City staff did not provide a response during the public comment period beyond taking the comments; no council action or staff direction on Project Homeless Connect was recorded during the meeting.
