Board approves nearly $760,000 in facility grants; consent agenda passes 5-0

The Catalina Foothills Unified School District Governing Board on April 1 approved routine consent items and accepted three School Facilities Division building-renewal grants totaling about $760,843, saving roughly one-third of a year’s typical capital allotment.
Board members first approved the consent agenda items 3.1 through 3.8 by a 5-0 vote. Those items included acceptance of the March 11, 2025 regular- and executive-session meeting minutes; the expense voucher memorandum; field trip and fundraising requests; the personnel memorandum; acceptance with gratitude of gifts and donations; and additions/updates to the sole-source vendor list (Heggerty Literacy and IXL Learning added for FY 2024–25, and an update to Johnson Controls Incorporated).
