The clerk also read resolutions authorizing demolition of specific properties in the Mastic-Shirley Conservation Area and other acquisition or settlement authorizations; several resolution numbers and short descriptions were read during the roll call of items.
Supervisor Patek made a brief remark about local outreach and recent work with Bellport Middle School regarding Martha Avenue Park improvements. After the clerk’s readout, the board voted to enter executive session "to discuss four programs for the public good, two proposed land acquisitions, and personnel." A motion to go into executive session was moved and seconded in the public session and the chair announced, "Motion carries." The board said it would conduct no further public business after executive session.
