Board approves consent agenda, region nomination and multiple contract renewals after closed session

On the consent agenda trustees approved items grouped under agenda numbers 6.1'6.7 (interagency memoranda of understanding and service agreements), 7.1'7.9 (cash, tax and budget reports; purchases; awards of RFP/RFQ), and administration items 8.1 (revisions to the 2024'25 compensation plan), 8.3 (resolution for a rifle-resistant body armor grant) and 8.4 (minutes of the February 2025 meeting). The board approved the bundled consent motion in a single voice vote.
Trustees then completed a separate vote to submit ballots to Region 1 for the board of directors nomination (agenda item 8.2); the board's ballots were gathered and the motion to approve collection and submission of the ballots passed on a motion and second.
After an executive (closed) session the board returned to open session and approved multiple personnel actions. The board approved employment resignations, retirements and terminations (agenda item 11.1); renewed multi-year term contracts for administrators for the 2025'26 and 2026'27 school years (11.2); renewed one-year term contracts for administrators for 2025'26 (11.3); renewed probationary contracts for administrators for 2025'26 (11.4); renewed term contracts for teachers, librarians, nurses and instructional coaches for 2025'26 (11.5); and renewed probationary contracts for teachers, librarians, nurses and instructional coaches for 2025'26 (11.6). In each case the superintendent asked for approval as discussed in executive session and the board recorded motions and seconds before approving the items.
Most motions were handled by voice vote; meeting minutes record passage but do not show individual roll-call tallies for the consent bundle or the personnel items. The board ended the meeting with a motion and second to adjourn.
The consent agenda included multiple agreements and procurement approvals; the district indicated that details and documents for each consent item are part of the public record and available through district administration.
