On Thursday, we did foresee that it was going to get pretty bad, so we did send the we let employees we gave them the option to leave an hour early to get everybody home safely, which a lot of employees did. But then we also didn't come in on Bridal, and so we're asking that everybody get get credit for the the time that they missed." He later added, "So we want to pay them time and a half. Yes, sir."
A trustee offered additional remarks in support, saying the district "has always gone above and beyond" in similar weather events and thanking the finance and administrative teams for arranging the payment mechanism. The trustee's comments noted both employees who were able to come in and those who could not would be considered under the resolution.
Board members moved and approved the resolution during the action agenda.
