Board approves consent agenda and adopts order for May 3 trustee election
Summary

The Carrollton-Farmers Branch ISD Board of Trustees approved the consent agenda and adopted an order for the May 3, 2025 general trustee election during the Feb. 6 regular meeting.
Trustee Cassandra Hatfield moved to approve the consent agenda; Kim Brady seconded the motion. President Randy Shachman called for the vote and stated the consent agenda was approved. The transcript does not record a numerical tally for that vote.
On item 6.b, "matters related to the 05/03/2025 general trustee election, including the adoption of an election order," Hatfield moved for approval and Marjorie Barnes seconded. The board voted to adopt the election order; the presiding officer recorded the vote as seven in favor and none opposed.
The consent agenda items were considered routine and no items were removed for separate discussion. The district provided public notice in compliance with the Texas Open Meetings Act and permitted members of the public to request removal of consent items prior to the vote.
