Council President Collins Bellamy read the item proclaiming Jordanian Independence Day and opened the floor for discussion; none was offered before the council adopted the resolution by roll call, 7-0.
Separately, the council moved to add a proclamation recognizing National Public Works Week to the evening's agenda as item 3(a). Majority Leader Lita Rubo moved to add the item and Minority Leader Breen seconded the motion. The council voted to add the item and then adopted the proclamation declaring May 18–24, 2025, Yonkers Public Works Week, both actions recorded as adopted, 7-0.
No members of the public signed up to speak on the agenda, and the additions and proclamations were adopted without recorded debate.
