The Buffalo City Committee on Community Development on Jan. 14 received and filed a petition from the Central Terminal Neighborhood Association asking the city to repave Clark Street.
Council member Milakowski, whose district includes the Central Terminal area, told the committee the neighborhood association is active and that he brought the request to the Department of Public Works. Milakowski said some parts of his district receive less federal infrastructure funding because of lower density, but the city has identified funds that will allow Clark Street to be repaved.
The motion to receive and file was seconded; no vote tally was recorded in the transcript. Milakowski said council members typically review infrastructure budgets each March and that the repaving request will be addressed through that budget process.
