Commissioner Jhett additionally secured board approval to use Precision Safe sidewalks under a sole-source letter and piggybacking on an Orangetown contract; Jhett said the contract will “take care of most of our trip hazards” and that the city will use CHIP funds rather than the general fund for the work.
