Buyer required to proceed after inspection period ends for DSA 1; closing target extended to June 27
Summary
The inspection period for the DSA 1 sale ended April 1, removing the buyer’s funding contingency. The buyer, Rob Halpin, is required to proceed to closing; the board previously extended the closing deadline 60 days to June 27. The buyer has not yet provided proof of financing in the meeting record.

The inspection period for the DSA 1 property ended on April 1, and the buyer is now required under the contract to proceed to closing, board members said. At the prior meeting the board approved a 60‑day extension that moves the current contractual closing date to June 27.
Board representatives said they attempted to contact prospective buyer Rob Halpin for a status update but received no reply because Halpin was on vacation. One board member noted that Halpin did not provide proof of financing before the inspection deadline; with the inspection period passed, the funding contingency no longer prevents the buyer from being required to close.
A board member said they will reach out to the buyer and the buyer’s lender when he returns from vacation to confirm readiness to close. “If he didn’t… he had to terminate the contract by April 1 if he didn't meet his condition. So now he's required to move forward,” a speaker said.
The board recorded no formal vote on DSA 1 at this meeting but discussed outreach to the buyer and the timeline for closing.
