It needs to be finished by July 1,” Kasberger said when asked about the schedule.
A council member moved to approve the intent to award the Laughlin Road waterline project and another council member seconded. The motion passed by voice vote; no roll‑call tally was recorded in the meeting minutes.
Kasberger said the city had identified four projects to receive SB 1530 funding, including the Laughlin Road work, and that the city expects to expend all available SB 1530 monies across the identified projects before the July 1 deadline. City staff said the project will proceed to contract execution and construction after the council's approval of the intent to award.
No amendments or conditions to the motion were recorded at the meeting.
