Russell County Schools recognize multiple student and staff achievements at board meeting

The board also named an employee-of-the-month team: Castlewood High School cafeteria staff were recognized for their work feeding students across two schools. Board members praised the staff's effort operating one cafeteria for two schools and supporting a broad range of students, from pre-K to seniors.
Board members and attendees lauded coaches and advisors by name during presentations. Several coaches and teachers received plaques and public thanks for developing programs that produced state-level results in speech, forensics, FBLA and SkillsUSA.
