The Mount Pleasant City Council voted unanimously to approve pay request No. 23 from Heritage Construction LLC in the amount of $388,880.31 for work at the South Side Wastewater Treatment Plant. City staff said the payment covers equipment installation at the headworks and aeration basin, backfill around the effluent lift station, and electrical components.
At presentation, staff reported the adjusted contract value is $41,012,657.85, completed contract cost to date is $29,986,710.86, percent of time complete is 90%, and percent of money complete is 64%. Staff also said recent work included installation of screw pumps and training by the vendor Evoqua on the plant's oil system.
Councilman Redburn moved the payment and Councilman Corbell seconded; the motion passed unanimously.
