The council approved the design, including color letters, for a new LED street sign and selected a simplified logo featuring a large ‘B’ with a bridge motif for visibility from passing vehicles.
Councilmember Luther moved to approve the LED sign design as distributed; councilmember Luke seconded. Council discussion focused on which logo would be more visible to motorists; councilmember Sattel said she preferred the ‘B with bridge’ design because the alternate logo included too much small text. The clerk called the roll; the motion passed 7–0.
The approved sign design will be installed as presented on the dais; staff will proceed with procurement and installation under the city’s signage and public-works processes.
