The City of Bridgeton passed an ordinance authorizing the mayor and city clerk to execute an agreement with Joseph W. Bommarito Construction Company, Inc. for the 2025–26 concrete pavement replacement project in select streets within the Harmon Estate subdivision.
Councilmember Luther moved that bill 64‑88 become ordinance 25‑14; councilmember Luke seconded the motion. The ordinance authorizes the contract in the amount of $971,452.00 with a project contingency of $30,000. The clerk called the roll and recorded seven ayes and no nays; Bill 64‑88 became ordinance 25‑14 by a 7–0 vote.
The contract will fund replacement of concrete slabs specified in the project scope. Staff said the project budget includes the $30,000 contingency to cover unforeseen work and that city crews will still perform other maintenance work as planned.
