Town and Country aldermen approve site plan, carport repair, professional services and waste-reduction grant endorsement

The Town and Country Board of Aldermen on Feb. 24 approved a package of ordinances and contract actions on largely unanimous votes, including a revised site development plan for the Transcipia property on Clayton Road, a carport-rehabilitation contract for the municipal center, professional-services agreements for several capital projects, and a resolution endorsing St. Louis County’s waste-reduction grant program.

Bill 25-07, approving an amended final site development plan for the Transcipia property at 13201 Clayton Road and authorizing certification of that plan, passed as substituted and became ordinance 4680. The city clerk entered an email of support from Alan Marquardt on behalf of the Grassy Ridge Homeowners Association into the record prior to the vote.

The board accepted a low bid and authorized an agreement with KB Contracting for the municipal center carport rehabilitation project under bill 25-08; the ordinance (4681) included an amendment to the 2025 budget to appropriate funds for the work.
