Alderman Harder raised a location concern, saying the tunnel is seen by relatively few residents and that the city might reach more people by placing the mural in a more visible spot. Harder said, “A mural, very few people are going to see it in the tunnel ... I think it would be better displayed somewhere else.” Other aldermen responded that the tunnel receives seasonal and event-driven traffic and expressed support for the student involvement.
