A figure cited during the meeting for the docks was $25,000–$30,000 total, with open-space covering half and the borough expected to cover the remainder; the board said they expected to vote on that item the following day. Lakeside Park’s pavilion is also slated for replacement.
Bridge and access: The board discussed plans to move fencing and install a new guardrail to improve pedestrian access to a park area near the bridge; replacement of a larger footbridge was described as likely about a year away and the board noted replacement logistics may require staging and potential school-transport adjustments during construction.
Community event: The board announced a river clean-up scheduled for May 4. Registration was said to start at 9:30 a.m., and organizers planned refreshments and a community turnout.
Public comment: Resident Michael Serra, speaking during the public-question portion of the BOA hearing, welcomed the new business at Ringwood Avenue but asked the applicant to keep the building exterior "respectful and clean" as new development proceeds; board and applicant representatives said they had already been in touch with the borough building official about painting and fence repairs.
