FREDONIA, N.Y. — The Village of Fredonia Board of Trustees on April 14 approved permits for the General Lafayette Jubilee and the Fredonia Volunteer Fire Department’s annual fund drive, authorized several sealed-bid solicitations for water-treatment chemicals and infrastructure, and approved removal of two volunteers from the Fredonia Volunteer Fire Department’s active roster. The board voted to table an intergovernmental cybersecurity agreement with the New York State Office of Information and Technology Services for further review.
The approvals came during the village’s regular meeting at 7 p.m., presided over by Mayor Mike Ferguson. Trustees voted unanimously on the event permits and the sealed-bid advertisements; the state cybersecurity agreement was tabled by unanimous vote after trustees requested the contract signatory be changed from treasurer to mayor and asked for further review.
