Dr. Fowler, who led the presentation, said the Passport is designed to give students roughly a semester’s worth of guaranteed-transfer general-education credit, while the UCGS provides up to a year’s worth of transferable credits. Both pathways use courses already offered through the division’s ACA and dual-enrollment partnerships with Reynolds Community College; implementing them will not require new courses but will create formally recognized credentials on students’ college transcripts.
