Andrea Kitamura, identified herself as vice president of fundraising for Riverside Juniors and described the event’s structure: ticketed tasting portions at participating restaurants, two ticket tiers ($75 savory; $35 sweet-family option), and live music in Centennial Park near the water tower. Kitamura told the board the township’s sponsorship funds would help cover event costs including payments to participating restaurants and ancillary costs such as printing and signage.
Trustee Carroll moved to approve a $2,000 partnership and Trustee Heilenbach seconded. In a roll-call vote Trustee Clark, Trustee Heilenbach, Trustee Carroll, Trustee DeCosta and Supervisor Wilt all voted yes.
Trustees asked how the township would be recognized; Kitamura said the township’s logo already appears on a sponsor banner (to be installed in Centennial Park) and on the event website and that the township would receive continued recognition throughout the following year. The board did not place conditions on the sponsorship and indicated a check would be provided later in the week.
