Council member Marietje Hernandez moved to ask for discussion on a proposal for a teen mental health and resource center; staff clarified the item was informational at this meeting and any request for approval would be placed on a future agenda. “You don't need a motion for that one. We'll just go into—this is just informational, so it's not an action item at the moment,” a staff member said.
Next steps: the council will keep the proposal on file and place it on a future meeting agenda so members can consider approval once staff returns with refined cost estimates, partnership agreements and implementation plans.
