District says Daniel Boone Elementary is on track; gym storm shelter, steel framing progressing

The WARREN CO. R-III Board of Education heard an update on the new Daniel Boone Elementary School’s construction schedule and site progress during its regular meeting.
Matt McDermott, a district staff member who presented the update, said crews have framed the classroom wings in steel, poured large storm-shelter foundations that can be driven on, and are completing retaining-wall work and site utilities. "We're very pleased with the progress," McDermott said.
