Committee moves several appointments and a reappointment correction to GLS consent agenda

The Snohomish County Council Community Safety and Justice Committee on March 25 moved multiple appointment items to the full council’s April 2 consent agenda and instructed clerks to correct a recital error in one motion.
Nicole Gourley, council staff, explained Motion 25-131 would confirm the reappointment of Dr. Gloria Gazzau to the Snohomish County Human Rights Commission for a final term. Gourley said the recital in the motion incorrectly listed the position as “at-large position 1” and should instead read “executive appointment representative.” The committee directed clerks to correct that recital and move the item to GLS on April 2 for consideration.
Motion 25-147 would confirm the initial appointment of Kyron Asher to the Airport Commission to fill an unexpired term representing airport tenants that ends Jan. 31, 2028. Motions 25-154 and 25-155 would confirm appointments of Kathleen Santee (final term) and Joseph Adamzyk (initial term) to the Board of Equalization; both terms expire April 30, 2028.
Committee members had no substantive objections and — without further discussion — moved all four items to the April 2 General Legislative Session consent agenda.
