Snohomish County Council holds brief administrative session; assigns four items to GLS committee

Acting Chair Lowe opened the Snohomish County Council administrative session Tuesday, April 29 at the Mill on Lake Stevens in District 5 and confirmed the meeting was also held remotely.
The council had no public comment: the chair said there were no hands raised online and closed public comment. The meeting record shows five council members present.
The council moved four items from committee to the full council’s committee-of-the-whole schedule. Letter a was reassigned and set to move to the Government, Law and Safety (GLS) committee on April 30; letters c, d and e were also assigned and scheduled for consideration on April 30. No formal vote or roll-call on the assignments is recorded in the administrative-session transcript.
Clerk’s, chairperson’s and chief of staff reports were listed on the agenda but the transcript records no substantive reports. The chair closed the meeting after noting the short agenda and thanking attendees.
Procedural details announced at the start of the meeting said in-person commenters should use the Zoom icon to raise a hand, phone callers press 9 to raise a hand and press 6 to unmute, and each speaker has three minutes and should begin with their name and city of residence.
The council did not take any additional formal actions during the session and adjourned after the brief business.
Looking ahead, the reassigned items are scheduled for GLS committee consideration on April 30, according to the council’s announcements during the session.
