The Snohomish County Council unanimously approved Resolution 25-011 recognizing April 22, 2025, as Earth Day.
The resolution was moved by Vice Chair Dunne and, after a second, was adopted by voice vote with the chair voting aye and no nays or abstentions recorded. Six council members were present for the administrative session when the vote was taken.
The proclamation was presented as a special report on the agenda and took only brief mention before the council moved on to public comment and committee assignments. No public commenters spoke on the proclamation during the meeting.
The council subsequently proceeded to routine business, including committee assignments and scheduling. The agenda later included an executive session called under state law; the session and related actions are recorded elsewhere in the meeting minutes.
