Snohomish County staff told the Community Safety and Justice Committee on May 13 that motions 8 through 15 would appoint or reappoint eight individuals to four county boards and commissions and that minor technical corrections were needed in the enacting clauses for parks advisory board terms. Nicole Gourley presented the list of appointments and requested direction to the clerk to make the technical corrections and to move the items to GLS for May 21 consideration.
The motions cover three appointments to the agricultural advisory board, three appointments to the parks advisory board, one appointment to the Snohomish County Children's Commission, and one appointment to the Law and Justice Council. Gourley pointed to a table in the staff report that outlines each motion and highlights the requested term-length corrections in red.
The committee instructed the clerks to make the requested technical changes and moved all items to the GLS consent agenda for May 21 without objection. Final appointments will be effective only after GLS and council action as required by county appointment procedures.
