A staff report to the Snohomish County Council Public Infrastructure and Conservation Committee on Feb. 18 explained that Snohomish County code and state law require an annual inventory of the county’s real and personal property.
The staff report said county code requires submission of that inventory to council by Feb. 15 each year and cited RCW 36.32.210, which requires the approved report to be filed with the auditor’s office by the first Monday in March — for 2025, March 3. The proposed motion 25-100 would approve the Department of Facilities and Fleet’s annual inventories and related reports for recording at the Snohomish County Auditor’s Office, in accordance with Snohomish County Code 4.46 and RCW 36.32.210.
Committee members had no substantive questions in committee and the chair moved the item to consent for council consideration on Feb. 26, 2025. No formal committee vote on the motion was taken; the approved report must still be filed with the auditor by March 3, 2025.
