The board also approved its 2025 meeting schedule, established the division clerk and acting clerks (Miss Brazil as clerk; Dr. Vladue, Mr. Hartley and Dr. Stamm as acting clerks), and adopted its code of ethics and board norms and procedures, all by unanimous votes.
Superintendent Dr. Vladue (identified as doctor Vladeau in the meeting) thanked members and staff; the superintendent noted a brief closed session had been held earlier in the evening and the board certified those proceedings before the organizational votes.
The organizational actions set the board’s leadership and operating calendar for 2025; Arsenovic said he appreciated the board’s confidence after his election.

The board also approved its committee/appointments list and named voting delegates for the VSBA annual convention, including a last-minute delegate swap that placed Arsenovic and Parker as delegates and alternates.
