The Crowley Zoning and Annexation Committee and the full council approved two related plats affecting property on Eastern Avenue.
The first item approved was a preliminary and final plat to subdivide property for RAS Leasing LLC (Tracks B-1 and B-2), contingent upon review and approval by the designated review agent and city engineer Charles T. Mader. The motion was offered by Alderman Samuel Reggie and seconded by Alderman Katie Chasson; the council voted in favor and the motion carried.
A second related plat โ approval of preliminary and final plat showing an assembly of property and creation of a new lot (Tract A1) involving Crowley Eastern Avenue DG LLC and RAS Leasing LLC โ was also approved, again contingent on engineer review. The committee and the council received additional information from City Engineer Tim Mader clarifying the filings; council members thanked the engineer for the extra detail. Both motions passed with recorded votes at the meeting.
Both approvals were presented as procedural land-planning items and were contingent on technical review by the city engineer and the designated review agent; no public objections were recorded in the minutes presented at the meeting.
