The Board of Aldermen of the City of Harrisonville on Tuesday approved a resolution adopting goals and short-term policy priorities developed during a recent work session.
Mayor Zaring presided as the board voted to adopt Council Bill 16, which the city administrator said reflected policy direction discussed at a recent retreat. Alderman Turner moved to approve and Alderman Franklin seconded; the roll call vote was unanimous among present members, and the measure was recorded as Resolution 2025-07.
City staff told aldermen the resolution incorporated changes the board had requested at the work session; the meeting record shows no public comment or further amendments at the time of the vote.
The resolution was approved by voice roll call with Aldermen Turner, Franklin, Milner, Chaney and Mills voting aye; Aldermen Doerhoff, Fouch and Davidson were excused.
