Park board elects new president and vice president; nominations approved unanimously

At the May 12 meeting, the City of Pacific Park Board opened nominations for board president and vice president following the seating of the newly elected Board of Aldermen. Park Board member Bridal Schecker nominated herself for board president and accepted the nomination.
For vice president, a board member nominated Joe (Clatt), and Cleave reported Joe had indicated willingness to accept the position if nominated. With no other nominations, the board closed nominations and by voice vote approved both officers. "All those in favor, please say aye," the board chair said; the motion carried.
The board recorded the officer appointments and asked the alderman liaison to convey the results to the Board of Aldermen.
