Prince George School Board approves multiple personnel appointments, contract changes and vendor awards

Prince George County School Board approved a set of personnel actions, contract changes and procurement awards during its regular meeting on April 14, 2025.

The board voted to accept the recommendation to appoint a coordinator of human resources (matter P-38 24-25) and to appoint a principal for David A. Harrison Elementary School (matter P-47 24-25). The board also approved recommended contract changes (matter P-46 24-25) and accepted a plan to allow sick-leave donation in a specific employee case (matter P-45 24-25). The board voted to deny an employee’s request in matter P-44 24-25; that vote included one abstention. Separately, the board approved a package of vendor contracts for fuel, pest control, uniforms, waste management and propane.
